Polo 2016(6c?) wing mirror compatability check

Hi guys/girls,

Im currently hunting for a replacement driver side wing mirror for my 2016 Polo R-Line (I think its 6c?). Searching online is abit hit and miss. I cant find ANYTHING for a polo 6c, but I have found a few for 6R.

Im unsure if this would fit my 2016 polo? If anybody could confirm or not?

Hi it should just be the same a lot of places don't call them a 6c they continue to call them a 6R not a lot changed on them the doors are the same so wing mirror should be too

Keep in mind that the mirror glass differs for a LHD and rhd. And check whether you need a manually foldable or whether it's electric. The same for the adjustment and heating

In general, all 6r and 6C mirror housings are exchangeable.

Hi guys, thanks for the response. I was worried because the overall shape is the same but I have noticed a smaller black connector style and an (older looking big white connector).
Yes I double checked, my mirror was electric and heated and I double checked via phone call that this part is the same.

My wing mirror that took a hit still functions perfectly and the glass is still intact (I dont know how!) So if it becomes an issue I can swap parts over.
