HI, I'm after some advice on what everyone is running their tyre pressures on a 2015/2016 GTI. My tyres are 215 40 17 87Y. The fuel filler caps suggest 39PSI front 35PSI back.
The tyre company that fitted my tyres looked online at tyre-pressures.com and from the registration number it suggested 32PSI front 29PSI back. Quite a big difference what does everyone else run on?

I run mine at the pressures specified by VW as per the details inside the fuel filler flap; 39 front and 35 rear.

39/35 for road.
35/31 when i'm on track.
But of course there is nothing stopping you from.playing with them a bit. Lower front pressures a bit if you are getting understeer and raise rears to get a bit more oversteer.

If they're the same tyres as the originals then go with vw's, if not go by ear
