Has anyone fitted a GTI boot to a standard 6R?

I just had the opportunity to buy the whole back end of a 6C GTI in excellent condition in my paint code (LP3G - Flash Red) for a really great price. I originally planned on selling everything apart from the bumper, but have now decided to use most things. I've already got the bumper lip brackets to fit the 6C bumper to my 6R, and have ordered the taillight adapters to fit the 6C LED taillights. I wasn't planning on changing the boot, as I'd have to transplant my installed DAB aerial and redo all the de-badging and de-wipering, but the gloss black spoiler looks so good! My question is, has anyone fitted a 6C boot to the 6R, and how did it work. I know physically they're the same so that shouldn't be a problem, and as I prefer to be de-wipered, those electronics won't be a problem either, but I was thinking that the 3rd brake light might be, as I know the 6C is electronically different?

I really like the GTi spoiler too. I thought you might be able to remove the spoiler and then put it on your existing boot. I assume they're just glued on, however if it's riveted then it would be a lot harder. I wanted to find out for an R-line spoiler

Yea i thought that too, but after some research I don't think it's possible to take it off without ruining both the paint on the spoiler and the boot, and besides I'd then have to adapt my existing 3rd brake light and drill my current boot to fit it
