Mk5 polo gti 1.4 dsg 7speed

Recently bought my self a polo gti 1.4 dsg had it just under two weeks its on a 63 plate as I was driving along I noticed I didn't ya have no power looked at my dash and it had knocked its self out gear I stoped put it in park and back it to drive and it selected a gear was fine droveit 2 3 miles down the road it done the same thing but this time engine management light came on has anyone came across this and if so how did you solve it

Take it back to where you bought it (hopefully a dealer-a dealer will either have to give you the money back or repair it) that sounds like 1.4 tsi engine issues, which can be very expensive - full engine rebuild/replacement.
