Hi, if I'm to upgrade my RCD310 stereo to a RCD510 stereo with DAB would I need a different Ariel or is it a simple plug and play?
Thanks!

Hi mate,
Unless your current RCD310 has DAB capability you will need to install a new DAB receiver

Re: Upgrading RCD310 to RCD510 Question
If the RCD 310 is not DAB and you want to use the existing antenna you will need to replace your current in-line antenna amplifier (FM) with a dual one (FM and DAB) and run a second antenna cable from this amplifier to the RCD 510 unit. There are companies on-line that provide a kit to do this. Alternatively buy a DAB antenna and make sure the plugs are compatible - need to be FAKRA type plugs.

Yes that should work. Decide where to mount it and make sure the cable is long enough to route round to the radio.
