Glass in heater blower!
I've had to have a screen in my polo n there's still glass shards in the blowers and think in the heater box, what's best way to get it all out, before it sends me blind?!!!

Re: Glass in heater blower!
Easy answer, take that car back to the company that replaced that windscreen, have messed up and now need to sort that out.
Or -
By the way, I'd reckon that the bits of glass will have fallen down into the demister outlets, so barring removing probably the dashboard, then dis-assembling the air distribution pipe work and box and clearing any remaining bits of glass out, this will continue to be a problem - it would not have been a problem if a proper windscreen company/operator had carried out that task.
Or -
If your car insurance company demanded that you used this company, take it up with them and make sure that you make it their problem and not your's!

Thanks for the reply,
The screen was smashed when I bought the car so can't blame the glass company, was really hoping someone had the best solution to getting to the pipes/box!

Re: Glass in heater blower!
If you remove any trim bits that are covering the under dash area, you might find that you can mutilate the ducting to get inside, and still make it "good" again - just a thought as removing the dash would be a real pain in the bottom I'd think!
