Coilovers

Post by LawrenceDGraham »

 So here we go the dreaded thread about coilovers so I was looking into lowering my GTI not on its nuts but just a bit of nice tuck don't want too f**k anything up on humps or just a flat road
So looked into it and lowering springs weren't too expressive but didn't like th3 fact that I can't adjust them when I please so looked into coils too find out they are pricey haha.
So I did the thing everyone says not to do bought a set of eBay coilovers for 140 quid not too bad on price then i ordered pollyurethane top mounts too stiffen the ride up and adjustable pollyurathane droplinks.

They ride like a dream got a decent height and ride fine not good if you want a nice smooth ride but the handling is amazing proper sticks too the road now.

So for all the know it all haters just chill just cause it's from eBay doesn't make it (Always s**t) hahs as long as they last a year I'll be happy with them then gonna get a set of b14 coilovers.
