2015 Polo 6C Want to upgrade to Medianav what parts needed

I currently have the standard Composition Media system installed in my 2015 6C 1.2 TSI 90 SE

What components do i need to upgrade to the satnav version (medianav ???)

For upgrading to the Discover Media you'll need some hardware (dispay unit, brain unit in the glove box), perhaps a different glove box, wire between them and a GPS aerial.
And you'll need to get the component protection removed by a VW dealer.

Can component protection be removed with vcds ?

is there a website or thread somewhere that has the part numbers required ?

No, component protection is only available via VW Group dealerships or proper VW Group Indies who have bought the correct kit which is same as VW Group official dealerships.

I have paid to get that done on an Audi S4, it cost about £60 from a proper local VW Group Indie, another should have been proper VW Group Indie had not got a clue what I was talking about, though he could have applied a Revo map to my car!
