Found our GTI,,,2016,,13k miles,,,Silk blue metallic,,,

All being well then we should pick up the 2016 GTI next week,
Car is 5 door , manual in silk blue with 13k miles only,,,
had its first mot in dec,,,tartan interior that’s mint,
full history etc,
car looks mint apart from a couple of little things they are sorting,,,
bit of a skeleton spec but getting spec wasn’t easy and wife loved it so no parking sensors or sat nav but can live with that.
Car is with a main dealer so we will get a years warranty etc,,
We also traded the R32 ,,,
I post sone pics. when we get the car home,,,,

Congratulations Jason. A Blue Silk GTI with five doors and manual gearbox is the best combination IMO, not that I’m at all biased biased (mine’s Blue Silk with five doors and manual gearbox ).

I can never work out why my wife does not like Silk Blue, but not much that I can do about that!

Maybe next time VW will have a mid/darkish metallic/pearl blue that suits her!

Yes,,,
My wife seemed to only want black with alcantara heated seats ,sunroof and sat nav apart from five door and manual but as
Soon as she saw the Silk blue then all the other spec went out the window and spec became 5 door and manual lol,
