Barrel lock

Gents

My sons just brought his first car 58 plate 1.2 petrol
Has a few problems but has brought it cheaply so hopefully I can get some help on here fixing them

So first one drivers door lock barrel
The key will not turn when in either way I have removed the barrel and have taken a picture of what I have


I'm sure it is missing something anyone know what I need? And why the key wont turn?

Sadly I'd normally remove the passengers and take a look but someone has stripped out the locking bolt in the side of the door... any clue how to solve that?

Will the barrel rotate in the housing you have there with the key inserted?

With regard to the passenger side, when you say the locking bolt, can you pop up a photo of what you mean?
