Alloy Protectors

Post by Clint »

Hi, couldn't find a thread or any comment regarding these, however having just returned my 6C and paid for 2 x >50mm scuffs on the alloys, and just received the new Polo with the upgraded 18" Brescias, I am considering one of the various 'protection' solutions e.g. Rim Blades, Alloy Gators, etc for this vehicle?

Has anyone used them on the MK10 or previously on the 6C - any thoughts? Have got the Limestone Grey Polo so would probably look at a red protector. Seems to be various options from pre-shaped bespoke plastic rims to apply to the edge of the alloy, to more flexible edging?

Interested if anyone has any experience of them, good, bad or indifferent?
