Hello all,
Please help.
I bought a new polo in Dec 2018 and live outside Barcelona in a mountainous region.
When driving on some sharp bends, the steering becomes very stiff almost caused a crash once.
The salesman from the garage said there is something in the settings that I may need to turn off as he owns new tsi polo too and experienced something similar. He turned a setting off but I cannot find it in anywhere.
It maybe related to a sensor as the issue only occurs when I’m going up and down the mountains and road sometimes is very narrow, almost 15cm from the rocks and the same for incoming traffic from other side.
Please let me know if you have had something similar happen. My manual is in Spanish and I do have a basic knowledge of the language but cannot find anything.
Or shall I just take it back to the dealer?
Apart from that, the car has been amazing and fun to drive all over.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Dee

Re: Steering stiff on sharp bends
How about taking it back to the salesman who cured his own stiff steering and ask him to switch the same thing off on your car?
Simple really

Re: Steering stiff on sharp bends
Is it in "sport" mode in the driver profile as this does make the steering a bit heavier?
