Lights on dash
I haven't had this car for long but this spanner light and '116' with a weird shape now comes up for 5 secs when i start the car. What does this mean because this never happened before. I have attached an image of the dash.

Re: Lights on dash
It’s a reminder telling you your car is due to be serviced.
The ‘weird shape’ (clock symbol) with the number 116 below it is telling you the number of days left until the next service should be carried out. The 400 miles displayed to the right of the spanner symbol is the maximum number of miles that should be driven until the next service should be carried out. So I’d say your car should be serviced in 116 days time or 400 miles time, whichever occurs first. The 116 days and 400 miles figures should reduce on a daily basis as they count down to zero.
If you’ve not had your car long and if it was serviced just prior to you getting it, it’s likely that the ‘service due’ reminder wasn’t reset when the service was carried out.
Check out your owners manual under the ‘Service Interval Display’ section.
