Whenever I go over an uneven road surface, there's a rattling sound coming from the driver's side rear, it sounds like there's something loose in the boot that's moving around. Nothing seems to be loose, no trims in the wheel well or the spare tyre/tool kit. Could it be suspension related? The car has only done 23k miles, so this seems strange..
Thanks!

Maybe check that the damper piston rod dust cover (pipe cover) has not broken free from the bump stop or sheared off a section of bump stop and now rattling on the damper body?
Edit:- or a rear spring has broken - as they tend to rust and shear off a section at about this age!
