Confirmed mainly what we already knew. I thought they could've gone into more detail about the handling;
The GT's sporty suspension set-up gives it decent handling too, with good body control and a comfortable ride over bumps.
In comparison to what though? At best they could've compared it against a VRS or Ibiza

Doesn't give us much to go on.
With regards to the price I agree with them. Its at least £500 overpriced, though if I was given the choice between a Fabia, SEAT or VW Id buy it soley on the basis of the superior interior quality (before anyone brings up rattles, they all but dissapeared now, so shut it!

).
I can't understand why VW UK don't offer Traction Control (or Climatronic for that matter) as a standard option for the GT. If I'm paying that sort of premium over a Fabia/Ibiza, I'd at least expect some toys to go with it! I feel VW UK have made huge marketing mistake with this. Now the GT just gonna be known as 'the expensive one' when compared to it in-house rivals
VW never have gone for OTT styling on there higher performance models, so I can understand the thinking there. Also, with a GTi coming up soon I hope they save the best til last
Overall I'd would consider one (shame, three 9n's in a row is pushing it!

) but the dealer would need to do some serious discount for me to sign on the dotted line.
