Hi Everyone,
So after many nights trawling through posts regarding the retrofit of xenon's to a 2011 polo I've decided to start my own thread.
I'm having a problem with the dipped beam coming on with the ignition. I've seen circlo coding he offered someone but this has not fixed my issue.
I've replaced the bcm with a 089f out of a transporter. Recoded with the polos stock code
I've used the KUFATEC plug in harness.
All other features work correctly.
I understand the drl should illuminate with ignition then get dimmer for side lights and dipped beam, however as soon as you put the ignition on the dipped beam comes on which dims the drlss. Light switch is in the off postion.
Anybody shed any light on it for me!!!!!!!!
Cheers
Edd

Re: XENON LIGHT RETROFIT
Hi Edd, I think it would be useful if you could post an autoscan of your current configuration.
The conversation to an 089F bcm (from 087?) Does require some changes to your wiring and coding.
To help you troubleshoot the problems you're experiencing and facing, it's important to tell is very precisely what you've done. What wires did you add? From where to where? What is your original and current coding? Thanks
