Just checked my new Polo GTI 1.8 using Carista OBD Scanner and is giving the VAG Fault Code 01282 - Intake manifold flap, changeover valve (N239)
Bought it from a dealer with RAC Platinum Warranty.
Definitely going to get it checked out but any ideas?
Anyone had similar?

I’ve had this before on my Polo BlueGT, no symptoms, cleared it and all been fine since?
Still no ideas what it was!

@27_craig That’s reassuring thanks, I’ll monitor it closely until the end of warranty.27_craig wrote:I’ve had this before on my Polo BlueGT, no symptoms, cleared it and all been fine since?

@SamEvans it has popped up 2 or 3 times I believe but every time I clear it, it doesn’t return for months. Did a scan the other week and no return of it so don’t know!
Maybe just a common one on the polo? Very strange!
Let me know if you do ever get to the bottom of it.
