Interior Seats......HELP!!!!

I'm trying to change the seats in the polo by putting a leather coating over them with a strip down the middle, but i was wondering how do u make the leather shape onto the seats and stay put so they dont move?

I didn't want to buy already made ones beacuse this is gone to be one of those custom things that a friend of a friend is going to do for me!!
