Number plate lights

Post by KillianDolan »

Hey All,

I have a 2010 VW Polo 6R and had a tow bar reverse into my rear bumper not too long ago. When the tow bar went into the bumper, the driver drove off pulling the bumper out of its brackets and leaving a hole in the bumper. I have since replaced the bumper but in the process of pulling the bumper off, the driver snapped the number plate lights completely off their circuit.

I was wondering what my options are here? Is it a case I can use the cabling that remains attached to the car and order new lights then solder the connections or is it a case that I'll have to pull the current cable assembly out of the car and install a whole new kit.

Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated as well as any links to potential places to buy any required equipment.

Thanks,
Killian

just solder. Extend the wires, and add any missing connectors.
