6R Bi-Xenon retrofit cables

Post by Aquavalver »

Hi! I recently aquired some genuine VW 6R Bi-Xenon headlamps and am buying a retrofit cable for them. Looking at the one on Car Systems EU, it seems to have extra wiring compared to the ones on Kunset. What is the extra wiring shown on the left on the Car systems one? Do I need this or does anyone know if it also comes with that loom from Kunset but isn't shown in the photo?

This is the Car systems one:
https://www.carsystems.eu/adapter-bi-xe ... d1268.html

This is the Kunset one:
https://www.kunset.de/Fahrzeug-Herstell ... lo-6R.html

Thanks very much for any help!

The cables on the left side are for BCM upgrades in a polo with a BCM ending in 087 - does not apply to your BlueGT.

Nope, you will be just fine if you go from 7H0 937 090x to 7E0 937 090x. Perhaps a wire or two for the dimmer, but by no means an extensive job.
