Hi Everyone

So i am going try and be as clear as possible in regards to my current issue .

I have a polo 9n3 2007 reg 1.2.

First issue :
The last couple of weeks the ABS light has been beeping on and off .
I did take the issue to the mechanic who mentioned that it might be the sensor at the rear of the car. [/list][/list]

second issue:

I was driving my car today and the steering light came on , my steering obviously went heavy and i couldn't steer the vehicle.
Turned the car on and off and the issue went away .

Can anyone give me their opinions on what the issue here might be taking the abs light and steering light into account.

I can assume this fix would be worth more than the actual value of the vehicle .

I'd suggest to bring the car to someone that can read the error codes via OBD.

I have booked the car in for a diagnostic tomorrow to see what is going .

Fair enough, thinking positively, you might just have two separate problems, first one could be a wheel sensor as suggested by your first mechanic and the second could be an undercharged battery or a dying battery.

Did you get anywhere with this? I’ve just joined and made a post with very similar symptoms!
