exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 3 (P242A00)

Hi Everyone ! I hope all is doing well.


I have 1.6 TDİ 2010 Polo and I get P242A00 - Exhaust Gas Tempature Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3 / This makes engine light on (flashing) sometimes, but after a start-stop it light off, and appear again after I drive 5-10 minutes or even dont sometimes.

İn conclusion of my all research: İT should be 03L906088DE-GR or HE but this sensor refer to "before particul" but, Sensor 3 must be "after particul" I guess ??

Im little bit confused, is there a any one who had the same issue and solved ?

Bank 1 is after turbo. It on the dpf. You cant miss it.

No, bank 1 is the only bank (unless you have a V-engine). B1S3 is number 6:
