Is my polo a 6R or 6C

Hi all,

I’m trying to do some repairs and mods to my polo and want to ensure I get the correct parts.

How do I know if my polo is a 6R or 6C?

It’s a 2016 Polo - Reg CK17YGR

The 6c facelift of the 6r Polo was launched towards the end of 2014, so if yours is a 2016 car it’ll be a 6c. The registration number you’ve quoted in your post indicates your car is a 17 plate though, and 17 plate cars were first registered March 2017 - Aug 2017.

The more obvious visual interior differences that distinguish the 6c from the 6r can be seen in the pictures in the discussion thread at the link below;
