Rear Speakers in 6N

Post by bstardchild »

Anyone know what the best approach is to putting speakers in the back of a 6N (3 Door)

I should say - I don't realy want to put speakers in the parcel shelf - just wondered if the "Better" models had speakers in the back inner 1/4 panel cards and if this was a possible retro fit

I've upgraded the OE Sony R/C unit for a Kenwood R/CD/MP3 player but to be honest the main reason was I don't have any cassettes and very rarely listen to the radio so CD/MP3 was way to go it's got 4 outputs - only 2 being used  and I find the sound unbalanced in the car - hard to get a nice all round balanced sound

I have Kenwood speakers to replace the OE door bin ones..... Looking to put similar in the rear......

Or is a semi-sub arrangement a better way to go - I need to max the boot space tho.....

hey

Well i made a stealth shelf and fitted a set of pioneer 4 way 6x9's into it and used the functions on my headunit to balance it out. They sound alright but when i have some more money a sub, new set components for the front and couple of amps will be coming :D

When i ran the cable from the front to the back there didnt seem to be much room in those rear panels, so i dont know if speakers can be fitted in there or not :? would be interesting to see.
