36 mm thin wall 12 point socket
For bearings you will need a special tool or improvise.

Am I right in thinking crack that off get the drive shaft out the back and undo spline bolts and hit with hammer jobs a good un right?

If you dont have a breaker bar, or impact tool use your jack to unbolt the hub nut ( its torqued to around 220 Nm).

You will need 15 or 16 mm socket to remove the ball joint, after that use a punch, or thread the hub nut a few turn and tap it with a hammer to slide out the drive shaft.

Please note that sometimes the bolts from ball joint can spin, so use a wrench or locking pliers to hold it.

The hub nut 50 Nm + 45° degrees

Did the same job myself last year. Straight forward with the bearing puller tool. Can't be done otherwise.

amer6R's first video is excellent. Avoid the second approach for obvious reasons.

Probably worth mentioning whether you're after the front or rear bearing
