ABS Long code needed

Hello guys,
i bought this cute flooded 2009 Polo 6R 1.4, everything is nearly done but the main obstacle is the problem with getting the long code for my ESP unit. Found the ESPcalculator on the web but it doesnt work for my unit.
Is there any chance to receive the darn code, so i can get rid of the major lights on my dash and get the power steering assist back?

Of course, it runs and drives just fine, apart from steering assyst doesnt work, ABS, ESP and tyre pressure lights are on.

I understand. These ABS units are a b***h to find coding, especially in exotic combinations like 1.2 MPI engine. And I know because I did a lot of reverse engineering.
It takes a lot of time and searching to find the perfect match.

The easiest way is to do SVM at the dealership or if you have a legal vcds, go to ross tech forum.

I thought most of us are using Original/legal VCDS. If I can recollect someone (in some thread) had replied to use latest as well as original cable -- > so scan adds or deducts something to pinpoint same.

Yeah i will no prob, ill try and get the autoscan tomorrow night, my workshop is 25km away from my home.

It is not necessary that you go to the workshop with the sole purpose of the new autoscan, just in case you visit it again for other reasons.
It is only a personal curiosity and it will only be useful to me, so we can wait or even not necessary if you do not return for the workshop for other reasons. :wink:
