Anyone familiar with this noise on a cold engine ? It disappears when the engine gets warm.

Re: VW Polo 1.2 TSI 110 hp 2015 noise from cold engine
Without listening to the same engine in my wife's 2015 VW Polo, I don't think that I can hear any noises that should not be there, it has been said on many VW Group motoring forums that modern engines are a bit like a "sewing machine" - in the past that meant that they run smoothly and quietly, but nowadays as far as I've noticed, it just means that they sound very busy. This is not just the 1.2TSI EA211 engines, the 3.0TFSI supercharged engine in my 2011 S4 sounds a lot rougher than the older 2.8V6 30V, again another Audi engine, in my old 2000 VW Passat 4Motion, one main and significant difference between these two engines I've mentioned is the older ones had indirect fuel injection, the newer ones have direct fuel injection, and when the engine is cold, that can make them a lot noisier.
