Fitting new wheels onto my polo

Post by Ryanhodge_152 »

Hi guys, hope you’re all good, a quick question I was wondering if you guys could help me out? I’m thinking of getting a new set of alloys and I’ve found a set I like. Does anyone know if these specs would fit onto a polo or would they be too wide:

Front 225.35.18
Back 245.40.18

They are 5x100 which I’m aware is the correct fit. I am just unsure as to whether they are too wide. Thanks 👍

These are tyre sizes , you need to look into the wheel specs especially the quoted ET (OFFSET) numbers.
post up your current wheel specs and the new wheel specs we will have a look and see if its ok and of course what car your going to be fitting them on

OEM would be 215/35 R18, so the circumference of these tires is too large.
