DRL Failure (but not actually?)

So I've been getting a weird error on my car, sometimes the Left DRL will turn off. I get an orange warning triangle and a note on the vehicle status page warning me to check it. Sure enough, it's fully off yet the fog light still works. Even weirder if I turn off the car and take the key out, then turn the car back on the DRL will be turned back on and the warning light will be gone. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Loose connection perhaps? This time it happened when I was messing about and flashed the front fog lights twice at the lights. Last time it just happened when I was driving down the road.

Check the connector and see if cables are secured inside. Maybe a false contact or bad connection.
