Vw Polo 6R steering wheel change

Hi everyone,

I have a Volkswagen Polo and I want to replace my current steering wheel (which doesn't have any buttons) with a new one that has steering wheel controls (photo). I have a few questions about this upgrade and hope you can help:

What additional components do I need to make the steering wheel controls functional? (e.g., cables, modules, etc.)
Does the electronic system need to be reprogrammed to recognize the new steering wheel controls? If so, how can this be done?
Are there any specific guides or tutorials for this type of modification on a Polo?
Is this a modification that I can do myself at home, or should I take it to an authorized service center?
Any other tips or recommendations I should consider before starting this project?
