MYO1 v4/5 1.9 TDI SE 115 over heating problem

Post by scooby-si »

Just got the above today but seems to have a slight problem with overheating.
The thermostat has been replaced and is working fine, but the problem is still there.
It warms up as normal (70 C) but refuses to kick out warm air through the heaters - then the gauge flys up to 110 C and then will pump out warm air! After pulling up the temp dropped down to 70 C, yet still pumped out the warm air
Possible problems:?????
1./Thermostat (replaced)
2./Air in system (bugger to sort apparently???)
3./Head Gasket (no gunge on oil filler cap)
4./Water Pump?
5./??????????????????????????????
Over to you guys :D
