2010 6R 1.4NA- Things to look out for

Hi all,

Going with a mate to look at a 6R 1.4NA for his first car next Wednesday. 70k miles, up for 3 grand.

I was hoping to get a little list together of things to check/look out for that will help to ensure its not a lemon.

My first car was a 6R 1.2 TDI so although I have some knowledge of the cars generally I've no idea about these engines as well as more technical issues specific to the 6R that we should be looking out for.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've got a 2010 TSI 1.2 and timing chains can be an issue (if the one you're going to see has it but I'm sure the early years 6R's did).

Bushes / droplinks. I've replaced these a good few times.
