2021 207 HP Facelift - what DSG Box?

I have had the car 5 years now and probably going to keep it a while longer. Love the car and took it accross the Pyrenees this summer when my Boxster had a sulk. I have rebooked next year and will probably take the Polo as a choice as sport mode was fantastic in the mountains and the good lady, prefers it as well.

Keen to stay on top of things, I wanted to understand the service requirements of the gearbox - basically the oil. The local VW place was not clear. They said 4 years or 40,000 miles when asked last week but didnt try to upsell me on the service last year and the car has only done 24,000 miles, which makes me think it is a dry one?

Looking on line, there is not an authoritative answer to if it is a wet or dry DSG, with article and posts confirming both, so wonder what fellow owners have discovered please?

Here in SA we did not receive the same KW and gear upgrade as the facelift in the UK for whatever reason. I did a quick Google check which stated: The facelift Volkswagen Polo in the UK uses a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox that is a dry-clutch system (designated as the DQ200) for standard petrol TSI models, or a wet-clutch system (designated as the DQ381) specifically for the high-performance Polo GTI.

A 2021 GTI will be a wet clutch DSG7, the DQ381. They will go 120k km between services, on paper. The old DQ250 and DQ500 will go 60k km between services.

I put a quick call into the supplying VW dealer up-country, not the one trying to sell me a service after I asked the question and they looked it up for me against the chassis number and it is definitely the 381 wet gear box.
