b***b***.co.uk attacking polos

Post by loud »

I don't know how many of you know about this but I'm a regular on porka.net and a couple of members cars have been posted on b***b***.co.uk. They clearly have lost touch with what a barry'd car actually looks like. Anyway this caused a war and they have flooded porka so the bandwidth is exceeded. I propose flooding b****b***.co.uk every day :x

(if u go to google and type in very high res u get pictures like 10mb in size  )

*** EDITED BY ADMIN :: Please do not post suggestions like this again. If I find any members discussing (on this forum) illegal topics such as attempting to bring down a web server, I will have no choice but to ban you from using this site. Sorry, but we don't mess around like that on UK-Polos.net ... I've worked too hard to make this forum to have some crazy "bandwidth war" with another site. TAKE NOTE! Thanks ***

Although i sympathise with you, I don't think UK-POLOS.NET should be involved in anything of that nature.

And exactly where will that get us?

In the same s**t no doubt......

I do brouse Porka sometimes but I do find some users tend to be a bit quick to jump down people throat - critism or suggestion wise...... No offence intended..... I'm sure people are happy with the way both forums opperate - just what I think as I read some of the posts. (I know lots of people use both BTW)

Newly appointed moderators please feel free to delete the last comment is you feel its opening a whole new can of worms

oh well, I thought polo enthusiasts would maybe work together to bring down these fools but obviously I was wrong. I know some of the porka users got a bit heated but those guys on barryboys are so infuriating with their ignorance and arrogance.

but it all started when they posted a couple of polos on barryboys calling them barry cars when they clearly aren't. I stick up for polos when people try to slate them. It's the slagging polos that annoys me, they can say what they want about the actual forum.

Argueing will just make them more determined, surely to ignore them would just be better?
Everyone has different views of different cars, not everyone will think your car is the best thing since sliced tomatoes.

if someone has constructive criticism, fair enough. But when someone comes along saying "that car is barry" when it clearly isn't it just annoys me at how ignorant they are. I thought if polo forum users united it would show barryboys not to mess with polos lol. Oh well, it's not my problem anyway, it's the proka.net admins that should be pissed off.

I can understand your feelings but all this wil do is escalate the situation -

What we have in the UK is "free speech" Every man/woman and child has the right to say what they like - they don't need to justify it either - if you don't agree with someones elses view point - thats fine.......

barryboys site IMHO can be funny provided you treat it as such - I'm sorry you are upset by them calling Polo's barrycars - they aren't in my opinion either but would you leap to the defence of every comment about Corsa's Saxo's, Clio's and Fiesta's as well if you owned any one of them - there is no war to start AFAIAC their site thrives on being contensious and all you will do is load the bullets fo them and they'll keep firing cos they've hooked a big fish and they'll keep reeling you in

I like my Polo - I like my other cars too - but if someone hated it and said so on this forum - generally slagging it to bits - It wouldn't make us sworn enemies and I wouldn't post insulting things about his motor - in fact if I met him at a show and he said it to my face I'd listen to his viewpoint - I wouldn't like it but opinions are just that opinions......

I've said it loads of time - IF we all liked the same stuff the world would be a boring place and we'd all drive identical cars and have nothing to discuss.....

JM2pW - sorry if it offends

Agreed - but who is judge and jury on constructive and come to think of it - I can't ever remember seeing anything on Barryboys that was remotely constructive - it's a site built and run to rip the p*** out of modified cars done badly (in their opinions)

There are lots of ignorant people in the world - bigotted people - racialist people - people who cut peoples heads off and video it (sorry bit of a sensitive area I know) You have the choice not to listen to their rants and walk away - switch off - turn over

United to defend a higher principle? - come on - It's life - we left the playground a while ago (certainly in my case) and I stopped relying on my older brother for support too......

And I'm sure a few well chosen calming words will go a long way to resolving the issue - on both Forums

i was goin to defend my point further but to be honest, i can't be assed lol.

did you know porka was nominated by barryboys as krooze site of the month? Bet you're jealous...hehe

you all seem to be taking this awfully seriously, I wasn't causing an argument like in the playground or relying on my older brother?! I just thought it would be entertaining to see barryboys flooded with polo drivers proving all the barryboys users wrong whenever they tried to make a point. They also begged for a flooding by practically daring us to try it by making remarks about their bandwidth like "we have plenty  " lol...

I hope their volvos and hairdresser cars get keyed.
