Can't say I've ever seen them on a mk2.. although I think the lights may be the same as a mk2 golf, in which case I'm sure they're available somewhere.

no u carnt get um yet venom is on the case by the looks of there website saying COMING SOON

no golf ones are to big we have already looked in to this on the forum time ago :roll:

Ah, fair enough, I thought the round lamps were pretty much a standard part across VWs in this sort of period, but obviously not.

The standard ones aren't exactly crystal.. can just about see inside if you really peer through the glass but the fresnel lens stops you really seeing anything.

Give em a good wash inside with some fairy liqiud. Thatll make em look a million times cleaner and more crystaler (sp) Ive done this to mine (as have a few other ppl to theirs). B4 and after pics to follow

Hmm, good idea.. might give that a try this afternoon if I get finished with my carb and my brakes before it gets dark at some ridiculous hour..

What you talkin about Willis? The lens is more see through. So the reflective surface on the inside is more visible and more light can get out. Also it looks alot "newer" :D

sorry thats all i can garner from your rather washed out photos - that the second, and i assume crystal, set of lights, look darker on the 'inside' than the first set..

The second set of lights are identical in every way to the first set except theyve been washed inside with fairy liquid! Bah. "washed out photos" Everything looks washed out this time of year.

im after set of clear light but sod's law some b'stard will smash them or a stone will chip them.
