Open/close windows and sunroof from the remote
I took a look into this page http://www.zac.ch/users/sunstar/easydiag/ and translated using babelfish.
I found one interesting function:
Komfortöffnen/-schliessen:
Komfortöffnen/schliessen über die Funkfernbedienung (z.B. beim Schliessen nach längerem Druck auf die Funkfernbedienung das Schiebedach und Fenster schliessen lassen).
Translated it is something like this:
Comfort opening/latches over the radio remote maintenance (e.g. with reasoning after longer pressure on the radio remote maintenance the sun roof and window to close leave).
If I understand it well, it says that it is possible to open/close the windows and sunroof with the remote control. Any one knows if it can be activated to out Polos?

I have also found this in a post in the VAG-COM forum (http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/VAG-COM/):
Audi A4 3.0 2003
HEX-COM
Current code for Windows auto-lock/unlock I have setted up is 11880 but
would like to know, is there a way that the sunroof close automatically
when pressing once the lock button? (not having to hold the button when
locking)... I've seen in the faq nothing for that but maybe it's
something possible.
Thank you, Sylvain
This is for an Audi A4, but maybe our polos can do that?

Don't know of any function to lock up your sunroof or windows with the remote
Only way I know you can do it is with the key in the lock barrel (hold key in 'locked' position to do windows/sunroof up and 'unlocked' to open them. That function is standard on all 6n2's and 9n's with central locking and electric windows.

mine doesn't :-(
I have a mk v GTi with leccy windows and roof and mine only close automatically by holding the key in the lock position (actually in the door lock!) for a few seconds.....the button on the key just locks the doors.tigor wrote:Sounds like they're lying I have it on my Mk5. Yes I have a sunroof and yes it closes that too. Really cool. I can't reverse the function though, only close them.
