Cars needed - BVF Special Display

Post by pettsy »

FROM CLUB GTI FORUM

Okay everyone,

The organisers at BVF have asked our region to help organise cars for the Indoor Special Display at BVF 2003. The Special Display will feature Air-cooled cars (being sorted by someone else) and Water-cooled cars!

In return for your car being on display - you will get a FREE weekend pass and FREE camping. You car will remain inside the main hall at all times and be locked away at night.

Now the theme of the show this year is, Standard & Modified. Sounds simple enough until you realise we dont just want 50 Golf GTIs! We need one standard car and one modified car from each model of VW's and hopefully from each generation!

i.e. MK1 Polo Standard & MK1 Polo Modified
MK2 Polo Standard & MK2 Polo Modified etc

MK1 Scirroco Standard & MK1 Scirroco Modifed etc

Corrado Standard & Corrado Modified etc

You get the idea? It doesnt matter if it is the same trim level (GT, 1.4, G60 etc) as long as I have one standard and one modified.

If you are interested in taking part, please email me with details of car, your name, address and contact details. I will pass these onto the BVF crew and you will be issued with your passes nearer the show.

All places will be allocated on a First come first served basis. Once we have filled a certain model/mk then we will let you know. So please email me below and mark you subject box with "BVF Special Display (make of car)"

Cheers

Just to clear something up....

We DONT need Golfs for the Special Display - we got too many of them.

You also need to be aware that your car will need to be in place by 9.00am Saturday morning and then cannot be moved until Sunday 5.00pm ish.
