Post by pete69zx »

Where can i get such goodies from & how much should i expect to pay?

Prefferably i like buying stuff online & having a decent website to check the stuff over first to make a descision.

Cheers.

I think the best looking set of tail lights you can get for the MK3 coupe are the smoked ones. There are not many available. The Euro Style ones are okay. They give like a crystal effect, without going over the top, but I'm guessing they will be harder to find.

As for side repeaters, get them off eBay. A nice set of clear ones, or a colour that blends with your car are always best. You can get a set of them for under a fiver, with bulbs.

These are the side repeaters I have on mine:

I got my clear indicators for a fiver. For the pair.

As for the smoked tail lights. I was going to have a set for sale but I couldn't get them of the GT when I sold it so I ain't :(

German ebay has really really nice crystal ones for 80EUR and then like 10EUR for postage.

I went to GSF for my front indicators (£20 or so), but they gave me an od pair  , so got some proper VAG ones from VAG parts 2nd time around (About £35-£40 including bulb holders). As for the side repeators I have some GSF smoked ones (£16 a pair), and my rear lights came as standard, though scrappies have them for about £20 or so.

Sorry, I didn't read your post properly.

Clear Indicator lenses, I got off eBay for about a tenner for the set, with bulbs.

But, if you are getting clear indicators, you may aswell get some clear repeaters to match
