New member 1.4 CL 5 door

Post by axolotl »

Hi there... new to this site, just bought an 'N' reg 1.4 CL 5 door Polo. There was no owners handbook with the car. I presume operating the car is not rocket science, but can anybody guide me as to how I could get hold of a manual?
Tried www.instruction-manuals.co.uk but nothing listed for Polos!
Happy Christmas to you all.

They often crop on on ebay - I'll keep and eye out for you

You can still get em through dealers - I think - Try asking Martyn at vag parts - Bottom of the forum

Meantime if there is info you need urgently just post it up and those of us with manuals to hand I'm sure will try to guide you in the right direction

hopalong to the dealers, i think they still have reasonable stocks for cars all the way back to the 80s, and it wont be mega money. think my mk3 one was all of £7.50 and a few days wait... for that kind of cash, its not worth the hassle unless you get a real good deal elsewhere (Vagparts does spring to mind ;))

New member here aswell R Reg 5 dr 1.4 CL Polo owner! :)
I'm assuming its a Mk 4... am I right?

Anyone recommend one of those manuals from halfords and such?

Anyone know what speakers come standard on the CL? Cos they pack a pretty good punch for standard speakers.

Hello welcome

I would think haynes manual would be good if your planning on taking it apart. I found mine quite useful so far :)

Yea the standard speakers are quite good i was surprised when i bought the car.
