HELP NEEDED.brembos on my mrk4 polo 1.8t

Post by john2 »

now i have standard 16v brakes on my polo mrk4 20v and would like to fit some brembo calipers, really just for show and possible extra performance.

now would the calipers be too strong for the standard uprated disks?

what are the possible changes i could make if i wanted to fit these?maybe a g60 setup?

thanks

Ibiza Cupra R Brembos - available from www.badger5.co.uk are the ones to go for.

16s minimum though!

You have two options, depending on wheel size, If you are running 16" wheels the the Seat Ibiza Cupra Brembo calipers and discs will fit, however if you are running 15" wheels then contact designadubs who have a conversion using Brembo calipers from the older Porsche models but I'm not sure what discs they use.

Alternatively try Hi-Spec who can custom fabricate discs and have a choice of four and six pot calipers in different colours.

Their calipers are also available in chrome (bling!).

Hope this helps.
