window problem

drive a 1.4cl and got electric windows, everythin works 100% and replaced the pollen filter which makes great different with air circulation but still have stemed up windows, not as bad after new pollen filter but still steams and hard to get rid of! any ideas?

was thinkin of getting a sealer or else gettin the windows tinted and sealed and sorted! wot everyone think? 8)

Fogged up windows (beyond normal levels) is usually the result of water in the car. Have you checked for leaks in the door seals? Front door seals are notorious for leaking.

Try the boot seal as well and check under the carpets (all of them) for wet spots. Look in the spare wheel well too, water tends to gather there. Alternatively, you could have a front wind shield that's leaking, we had this on one of our cars at one point. Refitting the window helped.

Favorite one for me is the drain vents blocked up in the scuttle tray area - this leads to a lot of condensation in the car

Off course there is an outside chance that it could be your heater matrix thats starting to go - hope it isn't on most cars thats a horrible job!!!!

Non-standard rear lights can leak I've seen a few poorly sealed front screens. It doesn't take much for them to mist this time of the year unfortunately :(

seems to be ok now that iv changed this pollen filter, located under bonnet on passengers side behind dash, its good job now! :lol:
