Head rebuild
I've got a spare head sitting in the shed, and I was thinking about rebuilding it and replacing my current one - little project for me one day when I get bored
However, I may have dismantled and removed and swapped and generally tinkered with engines to my heart's content, but I've never actually removed any of the internals of the cylinder head, so I don't know what I'd be doing really. Anyone experienced in these matters fancy giving me a bit of a guided tour/tutorial to the art of cylinder head refurbishing?

Re: Head rebuild
Groovy - happy to chat about this at the SE meet in a weeks time - bring the head with you and we can go through it over a pint - how does that sound?GroovyCarrot wrote:I've got a spare head sitting in the shed, and I was thinking about rebuilding it and replacing my current one - little project for me one day when I get boredHowever, I may have dismantled and removed and swapped and generally tinkered with engines to my heart's content, but I've never actually removed any of the internals of the cylinder head, so I don't know what I'd be doing really.
