Re: Change VW badges.

Twisting the front badge wont work on the 6r, u have to take the grill off and undo tabs from the back of the grill That method will remove the badge and the badge holder off the front grill. The same method used to remove the rear badge can be used to remove the front badge on its own without the h...

Re: 6r wheels

I'm on 7.5j et38 with a 215 tyre Tbh I think 16 inch is too small if ure lowering it and 195 is a skinny tyre on 7.5 or 8j, itd be quite a big stretch on 8j Have a look at my post when I lowered whilst still running stock wheels http://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=62094&p=481752#p48...

Re: Saty's Polo 1.6 tdi SEL - Remapped 145 bhp 320nm

Went from 90bhp to 145bhp and 230nm and 320nm You're a braver man than I, sir  It is quite a difference compared to stock, from what I was used to its silly fast. How do the numbers compare to ur bluegt with ur box? 55bhp increase, that's brave. On standard internals? That's got to be pushin...

Re: Saty's Polo 1.6 tdi SEL - Remapped 145 bhp 320nm

Had the car remapped at VRT tuning, a dealer for more-bhp Went from 90bhp to 145bhp and 230nm and 320nm The remap highlighted on the drive home that the braking system really needs to be upgraded, better pads and brake fluid refresh is next on the list VRT and more-bhp done a great job and the car p...

Those are to make sure the headlights are aligned with the bumper/bonnet, idealy the beam would have been aligned with the headlights sitting perfect

Re: Front Bumper Removal

I would have thought headlight adjustment would be on the headlight itself, I don't see how the placeholder on the chassis would effect the alignment of headlights. Removing the headlight would have no effect on alignment, as long as the headlights are seated properly once they are put back in, the ...

Re: Saty's Polo 1.6 tdi SEL - audio upgrades installed

Great job Saty! one question when installing your double din radio, did you need to install a new radio cage, or you just slide the head unit in, and popper the fascia around it? Thanks ! I needed a new fascia, a cage comes with the double din unit to secure the headunit. The cage slides into the f...

Re: R-Line badge on a GTI Grille (6r)

http://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=62094&start=30#p486920 Fitted an r badge to mine, covers the uneven shaped bit but doesn't cover the part which isn't hollow. R-line badge is longer so should cover it all. I don't think the oem will fit, but one like this will do the job http://w...
