Re: Knocking noise!

Does sound like that it'll be the exhaust knocking as thats pretty much the only thing thats gonna run under the handbrake as you say.

If a couple of the mounting brackets are bent from the encounter with the kerb, its quite possible!

Re: RACED

No one has taken the bait as yet  Not that I would ever do such a thing  I think my Polo is very much on a par with my Golf GTI MK6 after all VW claim the same 0-60 time. I've heard from the Service Manager at my local VW dealership that two of the salesman tried this very same test....

Re: polo review ?

I saw this review before placing my order. He's proberbly right, the Polo GTi proberbly isnt the best handling or the fastest supermini hot hatch around. But not everyone wants that "raw-ness" day in day out, i personally would prefer a more refined car with 90% of the thrills. Don't let t...

Re: seriously thinking of getting a new GTi

I don't think you can now. It been removed as an option by VW for the UK market.

I got mine by ringing around dealers, for the spec i wanted, and low and behold the car i wanted was at a dealer only 25 miles away, which was abit of a result!

Re: She's Here.........at last!!!

Apparently this is a GTi thing, I've just been in and bought mine and was told that the MFSW was just on the left hand side, by the salesman, like all the other Polo's but after going out to the car there were controls on both sides. Then there was an "ahhhhhh" moment when he then recalled...

Re: polo r even closer

I've so nearly bought the A1 TSi but the Polo won it on looks for me so i have to agree!

the A1 does drive really really well, unbelievebly refined for such a small car. The S1 should be pretty tasty i'd imagine when its released.

Hi UK-Polos.net !!

Just signed up as i've just bought a Polo GTi today

Can't wait till March 1st now !!

Its a Candy White GTi with a few toys.

I was really suprised how good that "little" 1.4 sounded, i feel in love on the test drive, wasn't expecting that at all.

Cheers
