Mines the same. Seems abit loose when in gear.

I had the gearbox recon'ed a couple of months ago but didn't make a difference and changed the spring below the gaitor and that didn't make a difference.

So would be interested with the result.

Would be best to get the car scammed with a fault code reader or vag.com. Ive just got rid of my EPC light and it turned out to be the brake light switch on top of the pedal, very easy to change .seems to be a common EPC fault.

polos looking good mate, how is the red grille trim held in? glued or just pushed in?

Right i have the EPC light on my polo gti On,so i have got one of those blue leads from ebay and have downloaded the software, but it keep scanning a producing nothing. when i check the connect is says that my car is not OBDII?
any help how to get this working

right windows sorted. what i did was 1.checked the rubber between the door and chassis no problems there. 2 checked the switches worked.they did. 3. stripped the door card off and gave it a good hitting and it worked slowy.Now i no it was jammed by awonky window. One of the regulators clips was brok...

thanks for the replies.Just been driving with the light on at the moment.Its not in limp mode and the brake lights work.The EPC light comes and goes.I need to get it plugged in to a reader i think. I did try one reader but it wont work. i think because the reader is for cars from 2001 and the polo's...

any update on this?

Menzerna polish is meant to be good for vw because of the hard paint.Havent tried it myself yet but will be soon. seen some really good result with it and a machine polisher.
Have a look on clean your car, or Elite.
