Try ebay as there is one on now for sale , that is were ive got most of mine , Ive only got one from a dealer years ago and dont know if they are still avalible from them .

Yes they do as Ive got one and one of the above to , as well as jetta , golf , audi 80 - 100 and other . They are by two companies - SCHABAK or SAMMLERMODELL . They were avalible from some VW dealers .

:shock: Ive found it in ( The Golf DEC 2002) it says you can fit a 030 small block 1.6 engine from a 1994 polo its got the same power as the polo GT 75 BHP , it says it effortless to fit and it can be tweaked to 100 BHP plus it torquier than the Gt . Its 1.3 cl coupe M reg , can only tell you that as its at a mates garage and he gone on his hols .

Thank for the info , as i have just bought the car but the engine if no good and thought i may as well do the convertion now rather than later and buy two engines and waste money , Ive also got a jetta 1.3 that i am putting a 1.8 in that so the 1.3 is spare and it only done 47000 mile , i have been ...

I have read some where that its possible to fit a 1.6 polo MK4 engine into a Mk3 has anyone done it or is it possible ? Cause for the life of me I can't find that mag i read it in . Or am I going INSANE
