hi, it was the same fault for my car but after deleting it and disconected the batery for a while it never came back. It happened after changing the air filter. Air getting in through the wrong places :-)

you do not have to saw it. check the underside of that part and you will find a small slot (a square), just press in there with a screwdriver and pull the handle out. You can feel that with your fingers if you go along.

there is a way to enable AUX in in gamma/beta. You can use an adaptor that goes in the cd changer connector on the unit. It makes the unit think that there is an cd changer connected an it will enable the audio input for it.
