Hi all, okay so i sold the RS4 alloys...
nw i need sm new alloys.... i have seen some 14" Borbets but there 8" wide wud dat cause ne probz? wel more probz den the 17z?

got to be careful with 14's on a 6n - because of fouling on calipers and so on. depends on the spoke design and offset.
if the offset is 30 or lower, you should be ok I would have thought - that way they will stick out a bit further but with 195's on em you should still be fine for the MOT, watch out for the arches tho!
just try them if you can....

looking on mytyres it seems that you might have to do 45 profile - the 50's are rare!
right, with a 25 offset they stick out 10mm more than mine, with another 1/2 inch from the wheels. so that's nearly an inch further out than my wheels - but if the tyres are 195's it's only the offset that will matter as you're not lowering it too much.
it WILL be bloody close at the rear if you lower it > 40mm, so be careful mate.
