Hi all, okay so i sold the RS4 alloys... 8) nw i need sm new alloys.... i have seen some 14" Borbets but there 8" wide wud dat cause ne probz? wel more probz den the 17z?

got to be careful with 14's on a 6n - because of fouling on calipers and so on. depends on the spoke design and offset.

if the offset is 30 or lower, you should be ok I would have thought - that way they will stick out a bit further but with 195's on em you should still be fine for the MOT, watch out for the arches tho!

just try them if you can....

better to stick with 7" to be honest. wil cause less problems.

thanx all, i was gona lower the car wiv these rimz i was finkin around 60mm should be fine! Wudnt b 2 low wud it? I am getin a good deal on these borbets even tho dr 8" wide ill hav dem on the car for a bit.

Best tyre size for these? I was finkin 195/45/14?!? wot u guys fink?

195x45 usually goes on 15 inch rims

195x50 might be fine - although you could do with the extra leeway if you're lowering it!

what's the offset of the wheels? I would guess that the 50 profile will suffice.

Thanx i fink 50 profile would be best. thanx. I dont know the ofset exactly but bin told dr between 25 or 28. 60mm shud be fine dnt u fink?!

looking on mytyres it seems that you might have to do 45 profile - the 50's are rare!

right, with a 25 offset they stick out 10mm more than mine, with another 1/2 inch from the wheels. so that's nearly an inch further out than my wheels - but if the tyres are 195's it's only the offset that will matter as you're not lowering it too much.

it WILL be bloody close at the rear if you lower it > 40mm, so be careful mate.

thanx! I c ur car is on 15z n droped 60mm. I ws gna drop mine 60mm shud b fine! as far as those arches yep dey gna b close... wud rollin em help? What does ur car handle like wiv dat setup?
