Can anything go wrong when fitting MK5 tail lights on a MK4?

These cost £85 from VAG (minus bulb holders which cost £24 for 2)

so in total from VAG these would cost £109

do you really want to pay that much?

Actually the ones you buy from Vag include bulb holders and bulbs so it's not £109 at all

From VAG PARTS this week wrote "~Hi there
£31.69+VAT each including the light boards and all bulbs and the gasket"

They sell the bulb holders seperate for all the cheapskates who buy just the shells from a breakers of from someone who has changed their lights for lexus ones

Do the ones on eBay include the bulb holders?

not from what I can see so whatever he gets for them if you want to put em in a MKIV you will need to add £24 worth of bulb holders and the bulbs
